Italian national broadcaster Rai 1 visited CUTISS for a feature on denovoSkin™ as part of Noos – L’avventura della conoscenza, the popular science programme hosted by Alberto Angela.
The reportage takes viewers inside CUTISS’ GMP manufacturing facility in Schlieren to explore how denovoSkin™, the personalized, bio-engineered skin graft, is produced from a small sample of a patient’s own healthy skin.
CEO Daniela Marino discusses the technology and explains the different production stages, from processing the patient’s skin biopsy and expanding the cells to bio-engineering the dermo-epidermal skin graft.
