In this year’s 13th edition of the TOP100 Swiss Startup Award, CUTISS has been recognized as a ‘most promising’ TOP 25 scale-up. We are just as proud to say that CUTISS continues to place 1st in the Biotech category, this year amongst the scale ups! For this year’s listing, CUTISS was selected by a jury of 25 growth investors alongside other companies that are five to ten years old and therefore considered as ‘scale ups’. We want extend a big thank you to everyone on our team, our investors and supporters, and partners! Since our company’s founding in 2017, we continue to accomplish significant milestones. CUTISS has featured consistently in the TOP100 awards. As a start-up (up to five years old) we won the award and placed 1st in 2020, we came 2nd in 2021, and in 2022 we placed 4th amongst the 100 contenders. CUTISS Innovation, our French subsidiary, was honored to win the ‘Innovation’ trophy for continued innovation and research into regenerative medicine and skin pigmentation. This was part of the first annual Impact Awards, a jury-led competition organized by Team Côte d’Azur that recognizes leading companies of the local economic ecosystem. CUTISS won 4th place in this year’s jury-led TOP100 Swiss Startup Award, hosted by Venturelab. CUTISS won 1st in 2020 and 2nd place in 2021. CUTISS is delighted and proud to have won 2nd place at this year’s “TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award”. CUTISS also won 1st place in the category of TOP biotech, third year in a row now. Organized by Venturelab and running in its 11th year, the awards are considered to be a benchmark in Switzerland’s startup ecosystem. The jury panel consists of 100 leading investors and startup experts, each of whom selects 10 startups and ranks them by points. “We are thrilled to win second place at this year’s startup awards,” said CUTISS CEO Daniela Marino. “To have been chosen amongst Switzerland’s 100 most innovative and promising startups is a testament to our team’s hard work to deliver a revolutionary and life-changing medical treatment for millions of people with severe skin injuries. We thank the jury and experts for their recognition of our technology and business.” This award marks another high for CUTISS in 2021. Earlier this year, two scientific papers were published delivering proof-of-principle for denovoSkin, and the company had also announced the development of the world’s first machine to produce personalized skin grafts. In 2020 CUTISS won 1st place in the TOP 100 ranking. Prior to that, CUTISS was 6th in 2019, and 5th in 2018.   CUTISS has been ranked 1st in the TOP biotech startups category for three years running. CUTISS AG wins the Audience and the Jury Award at the Redesigning Financial Services (RFS) Pitch Arena Event.

The event is designed to bring growth companies together with large investors.
In addition to matching attractive, pre-screened companies with investors, the event also has a clear educational component. To this end, the event sets out to share insights with aspiring entrepre- neurs with respect to the skills necessary to building strong business ideas and presenting them in a compelling fashion. The jury of large investors is also selected to share valuable knowledge with the intention of helping participating compa- nies grow and prosper. In this way, the event should inspire aspiring entrepreneurs and offer investors access to attractive investment opportunities.

CUTISS AG receives the prestigious Swiss Technology Award in the category Start-ups. The Award was handed over to CEO Daniela Marino at the Swiss Innovation Forum in Basel.

The Swiss Technology Award is the most important distinction for innovation and technology transfer in Switzerland.

This sought-after prize is being awarded for the 31st time on 21 November 2019 at the Swiss Innovation Forum, which confers awards on outstanding innovations with above-average market potential and great growth opportunities in three different categories.
