Watson: focus on CUTISS’ bio-engineered skin technology for severe burns
Swiss online news platform Watson visited CUTISS for an in-depth report on denovoSkin™ and the potential of bio-engineered skin to support patients with severe burn injuries. The video and online report take readers inside CUTISS’ GMP manufacturing facility and explains how personalized skin grafts are produced from a small sample of a patient’s own healthy skin. It also explores the challenges of treating extensive burns, the importance of reducing scarring and donor-site requirements, and CUTISS’ work to automate the manufacturing process.
